Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hello, I am in desperate need to get this fixed asap! got a new macbook air (well 2017 model) connected the printer with usb, it is recognised. Click print on document, it goes to the printer que and thinks it has printed....nothing happens, the printer doesnt even make a noise. ive tried uninstalling the printer and adding it again. I have no idea what to do next????

This seems like an issue with driver compatiblity.

Please click on the link aboeva nd download HP easy start and go through the installaton process to install the driver and try printing.

TBF the version of my opperating system was not there so went through 123.hp.com.
