I have had three HP support techs try to fix the printer problem. Allison the last tech who assisted me finally got my printer to print. But as before after one night the printer does not print the next day.
Please send me an HP support tech who can fix the printer to print or SEND ME A NEW PRINTER!!
Printer is an HP Envy 6555e.

Hi @tanker3842
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand how concerning this situation is, especially when the printer works after support assistance and then stops printing again the following day. Since the issue has already been worked on multiple times and the printer was able to print temporarily, it would be helpful to focus on identifying what changes between the time it works and the next time it is used.
For your HP ENVY 6555e All-in-One Printer, please try the following:
Confirm the printer shows Ready on the printer display and is not showing any error or offline message.
Open the HP App on your Windows 11 PC and verify that the ENVY 6555e appears as the selected printer and shows an online status.
In Windows:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
- Select HP ENVY 6555e
- Open the print queue
- Ensure Pause Printing and Use Printer Offline are not enabled.
Restart the complete printing environment:
- Turn off the printer.
- Shut down the computer.
- Restart the wireless router.
- Wait about 60 seconds.
- Turn the router on fully.
- Start the printer.
- Start the computer and test printing again.
Run HP App diagnostics:
- Open HP App.
- Select your printer.
- Use the available diagnostic and fix tools to detect connection or driver issues.
Verify the printer maintains the same wireless connection:
- From the printer's network settings, confirm it remains connected to the same Wi‑Fi network used by the computer.
- If the printer receives a different network connection overnight, printing can stop until connectivity is restored.
Remove and re-add the printer in Windows:
- Remove the existing printer instance from Windows.
- Restart the PC.
- Add the ENVY 6555e again through HP App and test printing.
Check for printer firmware updates through HP App and install any available updates.
Please let us know:
- Does the printer remain visible in HP App the next day when printing stops?
- Does Windows show the printer as Offline, Unavailable, or Ready?
- Are you connected through Wi‑Fi or USB?
That information will help us better understand whether the issue is related to connectivity, printer status, or the Windows printing environment.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
