Hi @julio51,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The HP Deskjet F4180 is an older (legacy) printer model, and specific drivers for Windows 11 are no longer available as the product has reached the end of its official software support lifecycle.

However, you can still use your printer by installing the HP Universal Print Driver or allowing Windows Update to automatically install a generic driver. This driver supports basic print and scan functions for most older HP printers, including the F4180.

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Connect your printer to your PC via USB.
  2. Go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → Add device.
  3. Windows will automatically detect and install a compatible generic driver.
  4. If it doesn’t, you can manually add it by selecting “The printer that I want isn’t listed” → “Add a local printer” → choose HP Deskjet Series or HP Universal Print Driver from the list.

While advanced features may not be available, this method ensures your printer continues to function for everyday printing tasks.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
