Hi @karthick11

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for sharing those details—it sounds like your HP LaserJet Pro M1136 isn’t being recognized by your Windows 11 laptop, likely due to a missing or incompatible driver. Let’s get that sorted.

🛠️ Step-by-Step: Install the Correct Driver for HP LaserJet Pro M1136 on Windows 11

  1. Unplug the USB cable from the printer if it’s connected.
  2. Download the HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver from HP’s official site:
👉 HP M1136 Driver Download Page
  3. Scroll to the Driver-Product Installation Software section and download the file named:
    HP_M1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution-v20180815-10158769_1.exe
  4. Once downloaded, close all open programs and run the installer.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted, connect the printer via USB.
  6. Complete the installation and restart your laptop.

If the printer still doesn’t show up after installation, let me know—I can help you check Device Manager or walk through a manual driver install. You’re doing the right thing by tackling this early. Let’s get that printer up and running.
