every few months, I can't print. it always comes down to the outdated driver. I have spent money foolishly and pulled out some hair trying to find a solution. I eventually have done it but I never remember how I did it. Some say it is easy but I just can't figure it out again. This time it cost me $30 and listening to a very stubborn sales person for 20 minutes. Please Help Me

Hi @Ishkabibble1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
To update the driver for your HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer on Windows 11, follow these steps:
Visit HP’s Support Website
- Go to HP’s official support page.
- Type "HP ENVY 6055e" in the search bar, select your printer from the list and go to the printer’s driver download page.
Download the Latest Driver
- In the Software and Drivers section, select Windows 11 as your operating system (if not automatically detected).
- Download the HP Smart app or the full-feature driver for Windows 11, which includes print and scan drivers.
Install the Driver
- Once downloaded, open the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Restart your computer to ensure the changes take effect.
Update Through Device Manager (Alternative Method)
- Open Device Manager (press Win + X and select Device Manager).
- Expand Print queues or Printers, right-click on your HP ENVY 6055e, and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers to allow Windows to find and install any new drivers available online.
Use Windows Update (Optional)
- Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates. Windows might include the latest HP printer drivers as an optional update.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
