Hi @MRGJunior,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printing issues from a Windows laptop on your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Connectivity
- Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop.
- Verify that your laptop has an active internet connection.
Restart Devices
- Turn off your printer and laptop. Wait for about 60 seconds, then turn both devices back on.
Update Printer Drivers
- Visit the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Enter your printer model (HP ENVY 5644) and download the latest drivers and software.
- Install the downloaded drivers on your laptop.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and install the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP Website.
- Run the tool and follow the on-screen instructions to automatically diagnose and resolve printing issues.
Verify Printer Settings in Windows
- Open the Windows Settings: Click the Start menu, select Settings, then Devices, and Printers & Scanners.
- Ensure your printer (HP ENVY 5644) is listed. If not, click Add a printer or scanner and follow the prompts to add your printer.
- Set HP ENVY 5644 as the default printer if it is not already set.
Check the Print Queue
- Open Control Panel, then Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on HP ENVY 5644 and select See what's printing.
- Cancel any pending print jobs and try printing again.
Reinstall the Printer
- Open Control Panel and go to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click the HP ENVY 5644 printer and choose Remove device.
- Add the printer again by selecting Add a printer.
I hope this helps.
