Hi @Dillon24,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP printer is not printing after a firmware update. There are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and restart.

Reset Printing System: If you are using a Mac, resetting the printing system may help. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, right-click (or control-click) on the printer list, and select "Reset printing system…". This will remove and reset all print queues, so you will have to add your printers again.

Check Firmware Version: Make sure that the firmware version installed is correct and fully updated. You can check the firmware version via the printer's control panel or the Embedded Web Server by entering the printer's IP address into a web browser.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes, you may need to reinstall the printer drivers to ensure compatibility with the new firmware. Download the latest drivers from the Official HP® Support and install them on your computer.

Hard Reset the Printer: Perform a hard reset by turning off the printer, disconnecting all cables, waiting a few minutes, and then connecting everything back before restarting.

Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, consider resetting the printer to factory defaults.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
