Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

hi,
since yesterday morning I am not able to install my LaserJet MFP 140we
I follow all instructions given by HP and nothing happens
I am really on edge to lose my patience and return the printer to the vendor. Why did you make it so difficult a simple task? I don't need any HP doctor or HP account?!?!?!
Please send me a link for a simple installation guide, so I can continue to work, I already lost too many precious hours on something that  should be very simple.

Hi @hus1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 I'd be happy to assist you

I understand you are unable to install the printer drivers

 Let's try and uninstall the printer drivers from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.

--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.

--->Select your HP printer.

--->Select Uninstall.

--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.

--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

--->Click on the Drivers tab.

--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.

--->Select OK.

--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

--->Close Devices and Printers.

And then reinstall the printer full-featured drivers from software and drivers page

Follow the on screen instructions to complete the driver installation

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
