Hi @mr_kbi

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If you're facing installation issues with the HP LaserJet P1102 printer, here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Uninstall Previous Drivers:

Open "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel.

Uninstall any existing HP printer software or drivers.

Restart your computer.

Download the Latest Drivers:

Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the HP LaserJet P1102 printer.

Ensure you select the correct operating system version.

Run the Installation as Administrator:

Right-click the driver setup file and select "Run as Administrator."

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Check USB Connection:

Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.

Try using a different USB port if the connection is not recognized.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:

Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix installation issues.

Perform a Clean Boot:

Disable all non-Microsoft services and startup programs to avoid conflicts during installation.

After installation, re-enable the services and programs.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
