Hi @Kannu2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage Ultra printer is printing half a page across two sheets, it’s likely due to a paper size mismatch, driver settings, or page formatting issue. Let’s walk through the steps to fix this.

Step-by-Step Fix for Split Page Printing

1. Check Paper Size Settings

Make sure the paper size in your print settings matches the actual paper loaded in the tray.

  • Go to Print > Printer Properties or Page Setup in your application.
  • Set paper size to A4 or Letter, depending on what you’re using.
  • Avoid using “Fit to Page” or “Custom Size” unless necessary.

2. Check Page Layout and Margins

  • In Word, PDF, or your graphics app, ensure the document is not set to print in booklet or two-page layout.
  • Set margins to Normal or Default.

3. Update or Reinstall Printer Driver

Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause formatting issues.

Download and install the latest full-feature driver for your operating system.

4. Avoid Duplex or Manual Two-Sided Printing

If duplex printing is enabled but not supported, it may split the page incorrectly.

  • Go to Print Settings > Preferences
  • Disable Two-sided printing or Duplex

5. Check Paper Feed and Alignment

Sometimes misfeeds or roller issues can cause partial prints.

  • Use clean, flat paper.
  • Load 10–25 sheets only.
  • Align paper guides snugly but not tightly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
