I had put in a full cartridge and it was connected to the computer.

The printer turned off.

It turned on again and halfway powering on it turned back off

it repeated previous step many times.

then an error code 0x80000924 undercroft c.

I tried taking out the power cord and waiting  5 minutes then putting back in.

according to your website this was the solution.

Itried plan b on your website, taking the cartdridges out and in while performng previous.

then it went off and the light on the left the power light started flickering.

it has been like that since.

powering off and leaving then plugging it in does not work.

I tried the online scan doctor but it can not find the printer.

Hi @notworkingp,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are getting error  0x80000924. I'd like to help!

Please try these steps -

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

If the issue still persists, I have sent you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
