HP LaserJet MFP M234dw
Microsoft Windows 11

I have question regarding power for a HP LaserJet MFP M234dw. I'm currently in New Zealand on a private yacht from the United States. Thus, all the power outlets are 120 volts. From what I can tell the power cord is a typical HP cord. From the HP US web site it list the power as 110-volt input voltage: 110 to 127 VAC (+/- 10%), 60 Hz/50 Hz, 4.8 A; 220-volt. From the HP NZ web site it list the power as Built-in 110V or 200V Power Supply.

If I were to buy this printer in NZ, will it work if I used one of my spare HP US pronged cords? In other words, did HP build the printer with a universal power input and only change the power cord to match the country it's sold in.

No. The laser printer can be 110V or 220V
