My printer has stopped working and in am getting a "status unavailable" message. any suggestions?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Let's reset the network settings on the Printer: 

 

Go to the setup menu>Tools>Restore Factory Defaults

 

Once done, connect the Printer back to the Wi-Fi: 1. From the printer control panel, touch ( Wireless ). 2. Touch ( Settings ). 3. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard. 4. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Thank you very much for getting back to me.

 

Doing this solved my problem:

c:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers.
     Rename W32X86 to W32x86.old
     Rename x64 to x64.old

 

Don't know why, but it did.
