HP envy 60055e

I have done every troubleshooting step they have asked, but it is still saying incomplete setup. Not sure what to do next.

Hi @Bre57,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially after you have already gone through the troubleshooting steps and the HP ENVY 6055e is still showing “Incomplete Setup.” We can certainly look into what is happening and avoid repeating steps you have already completed.

To help us narrow this down, could you please provide the following details?

  • What device are you setting the printer up from? (Windows PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, etc.)
  • What operating system and version are you using?
  • Are you setting up the printer over Wi-Fi or USB?
  • Where exactly does the setup stop, and does it show any additional error message besides “Incomplete Setup”?
  • Is the printer connected to your Wi-Fi network, and does the printer itself show as connected?
  • Are you using the HP app for the setup?
  • Most importantly, please list the troubleshooting steps you have already tried, including any resets, app reinstallations, network changes, or printer setup attempts.

Once we know exactly what you have already tried and where the setup is failing, we can skip those steps and focus on the remaining possibilities rather than having you repeat the same troubleshooting.

Please share the details above, and we’ll take it from there.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
