I set my printer up months ago & have been printing fine.  Now when I send something to print is say "set up incomplete".

 

I have been to 123.hp.com & tried all their troubleshooting but nothing works. The install shows done but still can't print.

You have an "HP+" model, or you enrolled in the HP+ program. This locks the firmware of the device so that it REQUIRES internet connection, or it will automatically deactivate itself so you cant use it until it is reactivated online with your HP account.

The problem with this is that you may not be able to get the printer to spit out an activation code.  your best/only(?) option is to **bleep** and make them do the registration for it to get it working again.
