HP OfficeJet 3835 All-in-One Printer
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Hello, I had to delete and reinstall all printers on my Mac and I cannot make this specific printer work again.

I tried different options:

1) being a MacOS I tried to use the Bounjour function, and with that it works only partially. Meaning it only scans but it doesn't print. Files sent to print are endlessly on the print cue but never go through.

2) I tried to install and add a new printer (many times now) and the computer sees the printer connected through the USB and I can select it. After that, I'm asked to select a software. I have 2 options here: either select the "generic PCL" or select software from a list.

2A) If I select the generic PCL the installation process goes through but the printer doesn't work (nor does the scan).

2B) when I try to select the software from the list, this specific printer is not there. (I tried with similar but it didn't work either). I tried to download the software from the HP website but apparently there's no way to do that.

Where can I find the driver for this printer?

At this point I'm pretty desperate because I don't know what else to try. Any suggestion is welcome.

Thank you very much!
