Printer turns on, won't complete startup.

I have a HP ENVY Photo 7858. When I turn it on (only from removing plug and plugging back in), the printer starts and then freezes.

I have tried all of the recommendations online.

- Unplugging for 3 minutes, then plugging back into a wall socket - Nothing

- Unplugging for 15 minutes, taking out the cartridges, plugging back in, and then putting the cartridges in - Nothing

- Power Switch doesnt seem to have any impact when pressing or holding down.

It's not a printer that is used very much or very often. Any offers to get us unstuck are welcomed.

Thank you!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that your printer screen freezes when you turn it on, and you have tried all possible steps to fix it.

Since the issue still persists, let us try performing a semi-full reset on the printer.

I am sending you a private message. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
