will this printer print the date on a document?  If so, how do I do that. thx.

You have to setup from applications. Which application do you use ?

what do you mean by 'application'?    If you mean how I set up the printer, I did it with HP Smart.   but there is no where in any of the settings to 'set date when printing a document'.   There is only the setting to be sure the date is correct.   However, when I print, this printer does not 'print' a date on the document as a previous printer I had did.    I understand some printers will not do this.  Just wonder if this one will.    I do not see anything in the manual to suggest this. thx.
