@gwapoko, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It seems like there might be an issue with the printing settings in your HP Smart Tank 519 Wireless All-in-One printer, particularly related to the scaling or paper size settings. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot this issue:
Paper Size Setting:
- Ensure that the paper size setting in the printer driver is set to A4. You may need to adjust this setting in your computer's print dialog box before printing.
Scale or Fit to Page Setting:
- Check if there is a setting like "Scale to Fit" or "Fit to Page" enabled. If it is, try setting it to 100% to ensure full-size printing.
Margins:
- Some applications have margin settings that could limit the printable area. Double-check the margin settings to ensure they're set appropriately for A4 paper.
Printer Driver Update
- Make sure your printer drivers are up-to-date. You can download the latest drivers from HP's official website: HP Support
Reinstall the Printer
- Sometimes, reinstalling the printer can help resolve configuration issues. Remove the printer from your system settings, and then add it back.
Check Physical Setup
- Ensure that the paper is properly aligned in the paper tray. Misalignment could cause printing issues.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
