printing the alignment page is stuck

so the scanner won't scan and I finally reset to factory defaults.  Now it says the printer won't print till I enroll in HP instant INK and then it insists on printing an alignment page but it just spins on this and never prints.  What now?  Throw the printer away???

I understand that your printer screen is stuck on the alignment page, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
