Welcome to HP Support Community, @chba50

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your printed documents are getting cut off at the bottom, follow these steps to fix the issue:

Step 1: Check the Print Settings

1. Paper Size
Make sure the selected paper size matches the paper in the tray.

Open the document.

Go to File > Print.

Click Printer Properties / Preferences / Setup.

Confirm that the paper size (e.g., A4, Letter) matches what you have loaded.

2. Margins
Ensure the document margins are within the printer’s printable area.

Increase the bottom margin slightly to prevent text from falling outside the printable region.

Step 2: Check the Paper

Make sure the paper is loaded properly.

Adjust the paper guides so they lightly touch the paper without bending or squeezing it.

Step 3: Update Printer Software

Outdated drivers can cause formatting or print layout issues.

Visit the HP Support website.

Enter HP DeskJet 2630.

Download and install the latest drivers and firmware.

Step 4: Clean the Rollers

Improper paper feeding can also cause text to be cut off.

Turn off the printer and unplug it.

Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to clean the rollers.

Let them dry and try printing again.

If the Problem Continues

You may try:

Performing a printer reset (restore default settings).

Having the printer serviced, in case of a hardware issue with the feed mechanism.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
