HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 All-in-One Printer

In a previous post, it was mentioned that the 8720 printer printed one line and ejects the page until the paper tray is empty.  Not able to correct this issue, another printer, a 9010 was purchased, after printing from Linux, this printer does the exact same thing.  The version of Linux used is "Elementary OS 6.1" which is derived from Debian.  I'm at wits end, there is a Canon printer on the network, which works as expected, prints a complete page from either Linux or Windows, even with Windows and Linux printing back to back.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

this type of behavior happens with Windows systems as well and in most cases (95%) it is due to an incompatible driver being used to print and I would look to what driver you are using.

not wanting to be a pain or tax anyone, but would someone be able to direct me to the most/latest driver set for HP Printers on Linux?  I thought I had such, from reading your suggestion, maybe not.  I'm open to any and most suggestions.

Thank you
