Hi!
I bought an OfficeJet 65232 printer yesterday. And I canät install the drivers on my computer.
When I try to install the software it tells me it didn't go through and in the details I find this:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Micrisoft\InternetExplorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
So this is what I've done, tep by step:
- I followed the install on the instructions on the printer's screen, (installing the ink, internet ect).
- I went to the 123.hp.com and put in the name of the drivers, downloaded and installed (well tried a few times)
-restarting the printer and tried again
- checking the wiifi indicator lamp
-tried the installation again ( a few times)
After I found the error:
- Used Ccleaner to fix the registry (appently.. what I found, the error messege I got is to do with the registry, but I did a back up of the registry first)
- tried the installation again without success.
- restarted the computer and tried again
- Uninstalled Internet Explorer though windows update
- reinstalling Internet Explorer with a new file, ( I need this on my computer)
-Restarted the computer and printer and tried again
I really don't know what to do really, it still giving me the same error if I click the "show details" in the installation window. I checked my antivirus and firewall, but I find no signs of any of them blocking the installation. Maybe should turn them off completely?
I don't know, I really would appreciate answers oxox

@Summerish It seems to support Windows 7 & 10, so it should have worked fine, click here to verify, with that said, I suggest you skip the steps to reset printer spooler and perform the clean installation instead, if that hasn't worked either, please use the steps mentioned in this link to resolve the issue: Click here for details.
I hope that answers your query,

@Summerish I have a few steps to help with a clean installation and here's what you need to do:
- Press "Windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window.
- Type "services.msc" to get Services - Go to "Print spooler" - Right-click and "Stop" the service.
- Now again open "Run" - Type "spool" and ok - Go to PRINTERS folder - delete everything in that folder.
- Go to services again - Start the print spooler.
- Now check for issue resolution.
- If the issue persists, unplug the USB cable from the printer (if present).
- Go to Control panel - Programs and feature - Select all the HP printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel - Devices and printer - Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to the Run window, type - "c:/programdata" - Go to the Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
- Restart your computer.
Then, use this link to access the HP website, find the drivers compatible with your windows and install it: Click here and download the full feature software
Let me know how that pans out,

hi!
so I was trying to do what you wrote, but I couldn't do the "Now again open "Run" - Type "spool" and ok - Go to PRINTERS folder - delete everything in that folder." cause when I search spool in run, finds only a backup of the regitry that I've made, I even turned my system to english display language and still didn't find anything
