Hi @clouse, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out with your query. I'm glad to assist you today.
If you're trying to configure proxy settings for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 All-in-One Printer to enable features like Web Services, ePrint, or Instant Ink, here’s how you can do it:

Option 1: Using the Printer Control Panel

  1. On the printer’s touchscreen, tap Settings (gear icon).
  2. Navigate to Network Setup > Advanced Settings.
  3. Tap Proxy Settings.
  4. Enter the following:
    • Proxy Server Address (e.g., 192.168.1.100)
    • Port Number (e.g., 8080)
  5. Tap Done or Apply to save the settings.

💡 If you're unsure of your proxy details, please contact your network administrator or check your PC’s proxy settings under: Windows Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy

Option 2: Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  1. Find your printer’s IP address from the control panel:
Go to Settings > Network Setup > View Network Details.
  2. Open a web browser on your PC and enter the IP address in the address bar.
  3. In the EWS, go to Network > Proxy Settings.
  4. Enter your proxy server address and port.
  5. Click Apply.
