I have successfully setup my LaserJet Pro M201dw with my wireless router. My Asus Chromebook was able to find it automatically and I saved it as one of my printers. However, when I go to print anything, I have the green light by this printer in the print window on the Chromebook for a moment, indicating I can print to this printer, before the light goes red and says "can't connect to printer". Even when the light is green, it won't print. But it also won't print when the light is red. I can hit 'print' and it will say that my document printed in my list of printed documents, but the printer did not print anything.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to reset the Printer here:
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
