Hello - I have an HP Laserjet MFP M281CDW that worked perfectly until July 9, when it auto-updated it's firmware to the latest version:
20200612 38.6 MB Jul 9, 2020
After the firmware update, I have a "Supply Memory Error" on all ink cartridges (we almost never print in color).
Designed obsolescence? HA!
How do we revert to the previous firmware version, so we can get the error to go away?

Hi @Fitafter50_com,
I'd like to help.
Let's try a power reset on the printer
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Remove and then reinstall the imaging drum.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
