"Unable to communicate with the device" upon initial setup. Brand new printer. Started setup on the advice as directed, then it told me to go to a website and download HP Easy start. When I begin that process, I get a ""Unable to communicate with the device." I am hopig to connect it to wifi and do not have a cable to otherwise plug it in directly. How do I get it to recognize the printer and complete installation?

Hi@BrittPDX,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing initial set up issues with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 Printer.

To set up a printer for the first time, remove the printer and all packing materials from the box, connect the power cable, set control panel preferences, install the ink cartridges, and then load paper into the input tray. For further steps visit this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-8720-all-in-one-printer-series/7902032/documen...
