HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer

I had an ePrint email address ********@hpeprint.com assigned to and working with my old printer.

I removed the printer and waited 3 days.

Now I cannot assign that same ePrint email address to the new printer.

I get message: "This email already exists! Try another one."

The printer is removed, but ePrint still thinks the email address is in use.

Can this be corrected?

As a work around, I chose a new ePrint email address **************@hpeprint.com.

Thank you.

Hi @tjlangan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We understand you’re trying to reuse your previous ePrint email address with your new HP printer and are receiving the message: "This email already exists! Try another one."

Please note that when a printer is removed from your HP Smart account, its custom ePrint email address is not immediately released for reuse. This is a security measure to help prevent unauthorized use of an existing or previously registered address. The system retains ePrint addresses for a period of time (typically up to 6 months) before they become available again.

You may continue using the newly created ePrint address with your printer as a fully functional workaround.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
