Hi @mstepuch,

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Use the HP Smart app

  1. Open the HP Smart app, and then create an account or sign in. If you do not have the app, download it from 123.hp.com or your app store.
  2. Follow the prompts to set up the printer.
  3. If a message displays that HP Smart is unable to register the printer, click Try again.
  4. If you are still unable to claim the printer, click the printer image, and then click Forget your printer.
  5. Close HP Smart, and then restart your device.

Use HP Easy Start

  1. Go to 123.hp.com and download HP Easy Start.
  2. Follow the prompts to set up the printer.
  3. If a message displays that HP Easy Start is unable to register the printer, exit the setup, and then click Try again.

Set Up and Claim Your Printer Again
