how do I remove old items that are in my account but have been disposed of?

HP is fond of a few words -- one of these words is "Smart" .

Another favorite HP word is "Dashboard".

For example,

There might be a Dashboard in the HP Support Assistant, another Dashboard in the HP Smart / HP Connected account (ePrint / Print Anywhere), and finally, a full device list in your HP Account.

What you can do depends on the context, possibly the device, and where the device exists.

The easiest and most straight forward option > Remove unwanted device(s) from your HP Account

• Removing disconnected printers from HP Connected can be troublesome.
• No magic -- Just have to try and find the device somewhere in the list.
