Elohl_NR, are you able to send us a fix to our printers too?  Right now my Laser Jet Pro M281FDW is a brick since the October firmware update failed. Is there a prior firmware version that can be used? Thanks Dperry0101

I am also having the same issue.  My screen shows "Resend upgrade."  When I press the Home button and go to Setup->Service->LaserJet Update->Next->Check For Updates Now, I get a Connection Error that says, "The printer is unable to connect to the service.  Check the Internet connection.  Press[Retry] to try again or [OK] to exit."

 

Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

No help from HP. Returned my printer to Costco, where we had purchased it. Replaced with an Epson. Costco employee said it was a wise choice.  Good luck.
