HP Color LaserJet Managed Flow MFP E77822-E77830z - Base Product 22-30 ppm
Microsoft Windows Server 2016

We have a Managed Flow E77830 printer that would need some configuration change. Unfortunately the Embedded Web Server (EWS) administrator password is unknown.

Could you please share the necessary steps to reset the EWS admin password?

Is it possible to reset the password without losing full device configuration?

Perform a backup first and then you can restore after you reset the password. You need to go into the pre-boot menu by restarting the printer and when the 1 of 8 appears under the HP logo, touch the logo. Should start to a blue menu. Navigate to administrator and the scroll down to startup options and find "cold reset" which should clear the password. If not, from the same Pre-boot menu, perform a partial clean. DO NOT change the firmware during this process or your backup will not work.
