I don't remember the admin password for my printer. How do I reset it so I can change the configuration?

I see that you want to reset the admin password for your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to restore the printer to factory defaults.
1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe until the Setup menu displays. Touch the Setup icon (icon of a wrench) to open the menu.
2. Scroll to and select the Service menu.
3. Scroll to and select Restore Defaults, and then touch OK. The printer automatically restarts.
