My network name and password changed and now I cannot connect the printer to the new network. I have tried all the troubleshooting and articles suggested by the useless AI assistant. The issue is that in order to tell the printer anything from my pc or phone they have to be on the same network - that network no longer exists. I want to reset the printer to factory settings and start over like it's new out of the box. I tried holding power button and cancel button for 5 seconds until a piece of paper printed out with lots of stuff printed on it, including a line that says 100. System Events with numbers and stuff below it. Also color lines, like a test page, but not the same test page that I got when initially setting the printer up last year. Right now this printer is a useless brick and I'm at my wits' end. *** This printer does NOT have a touch screen.***

Hi @1234567890o
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with connectivity issues, especially when you just want to reset your printer to factory settings. Here’s how to reset your HP DeskJet printer to factory settings without a touchscreen, which should allow you to connect it to your new Wi-Fi network:
Factory Reset for HP DeskJet Printers (No Touchscreen)
Power Off the Printer:
- Make sure your printer is turned off.
Disconnect from Power:
- Unplug the printer from the power outlet. Wait for about 60 seconds.
Reconnect the Power:
- Plug the printer back into the power outlet.
Start the Reset Process:
- Turn the printer back on.
- Once the printer is on, immediately press and hold the Cancel button (the red X) and the Power button simultaneously. Hold them for about 10-15 seconds.
- After releasing the buttons, the printer should print a configuration page. This indicates the factory reset has been completed.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- Now that the printer is reset, you will need to set it up again.
- Use the HP Smart App on your phone or PC to reconnect it to your new Wi-Fi network. Ensure that your device is connected to the same network you want the printer to join.
Follow Setup Prompts:
- The HP Smart App should guide you through connecting the printer to the new Wi-Fi network.
Alternative Method: Wireless Setup
If you prefer, you can also try the following steps to connect directly without using the app:
Put the Printer in Wireless Setup Mode:
- With the printer on, press and hold the Wireless button (looks like a wireless signal icon) and the Cancel button simultaneously until the wireless light starts blinking.
Connect Using WPS (if supported by your router):
- If your router supports WPS, press the WPS button on your router within two minutes of starting the wireless setup mode on your printer.
Manual Setup:
- If WPS isn’t an option, you can manually select your new network from the printer’s wireless settings if available.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I tried this several times before I posted my question. This does not work. The printer is not discoverable during the set up process, even though the light is blinking indicating it is ready to be discovered. I've tried all the suggestions for troubleshooting and nothing has worked. It keeps telling me to connect the printer to the network my phone is on, which I am trying to do. The app never locates the printer. Thanks for the reply. At this point I'm done with hp printers and trying another brand.

Ok, no worries.
Only remember that Deskjet 3755 printer is more compatible with 2.4 Ghz networks.
