Hello, I have a m479 with a failed firmware file and now the printer is bricked. Message in printer window reads, " A problem has occured with one of the printer's critical system files." I have tried a NVRAM and Cold reset, but the message continues to come up. I wanted to boot from a USB that has the firmware on it in an attempt to restore the printer to normal. I am looking for any actual firmware file old or newer that can be put on an USB for the printer to load the firmware from. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

HP Recommended

Take the installation file for firmware and open with 7ZIP or other zip program and copy the .ful file onto a usb stick and restart the printer with that stick inserted.
