Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I launch HP Smart the home page shows complete setup when I do so the software gets stuck on the time to install ink page. My printer works fine. I have uninstalled HP Smart and reinstalled with all my firewalls turned off and ran the setup only to experience the same problem.

@D_C4, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

To assist you better, what model printer are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

If the HP Smart app is not working, try using the full-feature printer driver.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

For assistance with first-time printer setup, refer to this document.

Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver to complete the setup.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Let me know how it goes.
