i have a second hand deskjet 2600 series that i am struggling to set up due to it being preowned, is it possible to reset factory defaults and re start setup to my network or is this futile?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Try using Auto wireless connect with the HP FULL software solution, download and install from this link:

From time @ 30 secs, it shows how to reset the wireless.

 

Alternatively, after resetting the wireless, you can also use HP Smart app from your phone to setup the printer and connect it to a wireless network.  Download the HP Smart app from Google play store or Apple store.
