Hi @Banana56,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Smart Tank Plus 559 is showing as "Ready" but not printing from your Windows 11 computer, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check Default Printer:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Make sure your HP Smart Tank Plus 559 is set as the default printer.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager (right-click the Start button and select it).
  • Expand Printers, find your HP Smart Tank Plus 559, right-click it, and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
  • If updating doesn’t work, you can try uninstalling the printer from Device Manager and then reinstalling it. To reinstall, you may need to download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

Check Printer Queue:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click on your HP Smart Tank Plus 559, then click Open queue.
  • Make sure there are no stuck print jobs. If there are, clear them and try printing again.

Run the Printer Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Find Printer and click Run. Follow the prompts to let Windows diagnose and fix any issues.

Check HP Smart App Settings:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your Windows 11 computer.
  • Ensure that the app recognizes your printer and that it’s set up correctly. Sometimes, removing the printer from the app and re-adding it can resolve connectivity issues.

Reset Print Spooler:

  • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
  • Type services.msc and press Enter.
  • Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure that your computer and printer are on the same network. Sometimes network issues can cause printing problems.

Reinstall HP Smart Software:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app from your computer.
  • Download the latest version from the HP support website and reinstall it.
