Hello @JOHN301222,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Here's what you need to do:
- Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and/or remove the USB or LAN cable.
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP LaserJet Pro M15/M16/M17a Printer Full Software Solution
Version: 46.4.2644
Release date: Mar 4, 2022 - Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the File name: Full_Webpack-46.4.2644-LJM14-M17_U_Full_Webpack.exe
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
