Microsoft Windows 11

Hpeasrstart 13.0.6 will not work. When checking software it keeps on running. Hppsdr says there is something wrong with scanning software. Trying to install it into the new Hp desktop. My printer is  HP COLOR LASER JET PRO M283cdw not MFP M283cdw --not sure if the same printer or not.

Hi @JOE1843,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an installation issue with your HP COLOR LASER JET PRO M283cdw. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Make sure your Windows PC is up to date ( To check for updates, select Start > Settings > Windows Update, then select Check for updates. If updates are available, you can choose to install them.)

You may download the HP Easy start drivers directly from this Link. You can also install HP Smart - Microsoft Store (Windows) to connect your printer to your PC.

  • In HP Smart, click Add Printer or the plus sign to search for the printer, and then follow the instructions to complete the setup.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
