@Sandysn, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It’s good that your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 can do an alignment test, which means the printer itself is functional. The issue is getting your Mac (macOS 15 Sequoia) to recognize and talk to it over Wi-Fi. Let’s go through steps to resolve connectivity, especially with newer macOS and HP’s drivers / AirPrint behavior.

Restart in this order:

Turn off the Wi-Fi router and wait 30 seconds.

Turn off the printer (unplug for 30s if you prefer).

Restart your Mac.

Turn the router back on → wait until Wi-Fi is fully up → turn the printer on.

Confirm same network (SSID & band):

On the printer: open Wireless (or Network) → Wireless Setup Wizard → confirm the printer is connected to the exact same SSID your Mac uses.

If your router has separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz SSIDs, make sure both printer and Mac are on the same one (try 2.4 GHz first).

Reset the Mac printing system and re-add the printer:

Apple menu → System SettingsPrinters & Scanners.

Control-click (or right-click) in the printer list → Reset Printing System… → confirm.

After reset, click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax → wait for the OfficeJet 8025 to appear and add it. When adding, select AirPrint (or Bonjour/AirPrint) if shown.

If the printer doesn’t appear when adding, add it by IP:

Find the printer IP.

System Settings → Printers & Scanners → Add Printer → choose the IP tab.

Protocol: IPP. Address: <printer_IP_address>. Name: (anything). Use: choose AirPrint if offered; otherwise accept the default. Click Add.

This bypasses discovery and almost always lets the Mac send jobs.

Check Local Network permission on macOS Sequoia:

System Settings → Privacy & SecurityLocal Network.

Make sure HP Smart (and any HP helper apps) are allowed to access the local network. If previously denied, toggle them ON, then quit & reopen the app.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
