Hi @Rogers151,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you are trying to set up an internet connection and printer functionality between your HP Smart Tank 7602 printer and your Lenovo PC using a USB 2.0 cable, follow the steps below:

Install HP Smart App

  • On your Lenovo PC, download the latest HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.
  • Open the app and sign in with your HP account.

Connect Printer to Wi‑Fi

  • On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button.
  • Go to Setup → Network Setup → Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Select your home Wi‑Fi and enter the password.
  • Wait until the wireless light turns solid.

Add Printer in HP Smart

  • In the HP Smart app, click Add Printer.
  • The app will search for printers on your Wi‑Fi network.
  • Select HP Smart Tank 7602 when it appears.
  • Follow prompts to finish setup.

Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

  • If the wireless light is off or blinking, restore the Wi-Fi setup mode:
  • With the printer turned on, press any button on the control panel to put it in a ready state.
  • Press and hold the Information button for 5 seconds until the control panel buttons light up.
  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks blue

Take care and have an amazing day!
