Hi @Paga_Yaro,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I Understand that your concern, don’t worry I will help you with this .

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  1. What HP laptop or desktop model do you have?
  2. Which operating system are you currently running?
  3. Is your device plugged into power and connected to a stable internet connection? This is important for BIOS updates to avoid interruptions.

General steps to update HP BIOS safely:

1. Check your current BIOS version

  • Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter.
  • In System Information, check the BIOS Version/Date.

2. Download the latest BIOS

3. Prepare for the update

  • Plug your laptop into power (do not rely on battery).
  • Close all other applications.
  • If using Windows, HP often provides an executable that runs the update automatically.

4. Run the update

  • Follow on-screen instructions carefully.
  • Do not turn off your device during the update — this can permanently damage the BIOS.

5. Restart and verify

  • After updating, check the BIOS version again in msinfo32 to confirm the update was successful.

I hope this helps.
