i just bought this printer from a store in brazil. the serial number is [Personal Information Removed], which is weird to me because when i put it on the site, it says that the printer was returned, and is registered in ireland. but brazil is a janky country, so nothing would surprise me, even though i bought this from the largest chain store in brazil.

 

i set up the printer. it creates photo copies normally. my computer seemingly recognizes the printer. i select it as the device, and i send a print job. then it says printing, the printer icon shows up in my tray, and about a second later it disappears from the tray. the job cycles through the print queue almost immediately without printing or making any noises or blinking or giving any signs that it received the print job.

 

ive gone through the stupid checklist that the automated support gives you. its nothing like that. i am unable to reach a human being on support. im either going to return this thing tomorrow or take a sledgehammer to it because it doesnt work. 

 

please can anyone help?
