I don't want my printer on the network, so I am trying to attach it to what used to be LTP1. or LPT1

Specs state that this unit has a USB port so you could connect via USB. I decided to replace the HPDeskjet 2755e with a Cannon printer that will provide the same functionality via USB without all of the hoops to jump through..
