Hi @stixbydix
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To scan from your HP All-in-One 8025e printer to your Dell Windows computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure Proper Setup:
- Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Dell computer.
2. Install HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store:
- Open the Microsoft Store on your Dell computer.
- Search for "HP Smart" and install it.
3. Add Your Printer:
- Open the HP Smart app.
- Click on Add Printer (or the plus sign) to find your HP All-in-One 8025e on the network.
- Select your printer from the list and follow the prompts to add it.
4. Scan Document:
- In the HP Smart app, select the Scan option.
- Choose your scan settings (like file type, color, etc.).
- Place your document on the scanner bed and click Scan.
5. Save the Scanned Document:
- Once the scan is complete, you can preview it, make any adjustments, and then save it to your desired location on your computer.
6. Using Windows Built-in Scanning Tool (Optional):
If you prefer using Windows' built-in tools:
Open Windows Scan:
- Type "Windows Scan" in the Windows search bar and open the app. If you don’t have it, download it from the Microsoft Store.
Select Your Printer:
- Ensure your HP printer is selected as the device.
Choose Scan Settings:
- Adjust the scan settings as needed.
Scan:
- Place your document in the scanner and click Scan.
Save:
- Once scanned, save the document to your desired location.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
