My OS has issued a message that my existing HP LaserJet Pro 252dw driver, used with Mac OS 15.3.2 won't be compatible with a future version of macOS.  Does HP have an updated driver that WILL work?

@Joseph9999, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

HP continuously updates drivers to ensure compatibility with the latest operating systems. To find the latest driver for your HP LaserJet Pro 252dw that is compatible with future versions of macOS, follow these steps:

Visit the HP Support Website: Go to the HP Support page.

Select Your Printer Model:

  • In the search bar, type HP LaserJet Pro 252dw and select your printer model from the results.

Choose Your Operating System:

  • On the printer's support page, you will be prompted to select your operating system.
  • Choose the macOS version you are currently using or the future version you plan to upgrade to.

Download the Driver:

  • Look for the section labeled "Driver-Product Installation Software" and find the latest driver available for your macOS.
  • Click Download to obtain the updated driver.

Install the Driver:

  • Once the download is complete, open the installer package and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver on your Mac.

Restart Your Printer and Mac:

  • After the installation is complete, restart both your printer and Mac.

Also, I suggest you refer to this guide:

HP printer setup (Mac built-in driver) | HP® Support

HP printer setup (Apple AirPrint for iPhone, iPad) | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
