Many of the printers say A4 A5 paper. That is not the same as the US standard paper. Is this an issue in buying a printer?

A couple of things from the perspective of a vendor. Over the past 8 years as companies like HP have moved to compete with established big copier vendors, the reference of A3 and A4 devices has become more common. Typically a device that is A4 is also capable of letter size and an A3 device will take 11x17 (ledger) paper. Often searching online seems to bring up the A4 spec sheets and not the North American spec sheets. If you go to the HP Store for your country the information provided about printers should be localized properly. That is not always the case with other HP resellers.
