I've got an All-In-One 1500 series that does the same thing over and over and over again - appearently there is no permenent fix because the problem always returns. I have bought 3 HP printers and one HP desktop computer. There are things I like about HP but because they don't bother to take of their customers anymore - they won't help me with my newest printer anymore without charging me even though it has never been reliable when useing wireless - their software downloads are grotesquely huge and then they don't work !!

I also have the HP PSC 1315 printer and I had had this problem for nearly 6 months (from last August) and now I finally found this solution! It seems to work, at least for now.

I was fortunate enough not to waste 40 pages unlike someone who posted here but the stupid printer has still managed to print me at least 19 (I counted the ones I found) alignment pages so far but as I have been fully aware of its infamous "green" thinking I have entered the same alignment pages that it's given me into the printer again upside up in (most) cases I have been sure that it would print another alignment page ;] Therefore I have only wasted 11 double-sided sheets on those 19 pages!

Hopefully the problem's fixed for good now!!!
