did HP update the software to this printer to run on WPA2 and not just WPA?  My Google wifi router only sees WPA 2 and will not link up on WPA.   Printer WORKED perfectly intill upgrading router.   Hope I don't have a overpriced paperweight.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's restore the network settings on the Printer:

Go to the Setup Menu > Network Setup > Restore Defaults.

Once done, connect the Printer to your router using the

  • Wireless Setup Wizard which can be found under the Wireless Menu of the Network Setup Menu.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

I tried the recommendation, but the screen still shows invalid WPA passphrase.  Isn't that my own pass word?   It works on all other pc, pad etc hooked up to the router.  It does still say WPA, not WPA2.   Is there a deeper reset or am I not doing something correctly?

Thanks.

Under the Setup Menu, go to Reports Menu and print the Config Report and the Network Summary report.

You will find the password on one of the reports.
